FASHION IN GAMING AWARDS
EVENT ATTENDEE AGREEMENT AND EVENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read this agreement carefully before participating. The Fashion in Gaming Awards is an independent, fan-produced event at New York Comic Con. Participation is free and open to all NYCC badge holders, but is subject to these terms and venue capacity. By registering to attend, you agree to the following terms.

1. Event Registration & 7 PM Seating Policy

The Fashion in Gaming Awards ("the Event") is a free activation for attendees of New York Comic Con ("NYCC"). Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis and requires an RSVP to be placed in the queue. To claim your reserved seat, you must have purchased a valid NYCC badge and check in with our staff by 7:00 PM on October 8th, 2026. Due to high demand, any reserved seat not claimed by 7:00 PM will be released to other NYCC badge holders who are waiting. This is a free event and no monetary refunds are applicable.

2. Code of Conduct

We are committed to a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment. We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior. We reserve the right to refuse participation in our specific event and remove any individual from our immediate event area for violating these rules. NYCC's overall code of conduct also applies throughout the convention center.

3. Photo, Video & Likeness Release

By entering the Event premises, you grant Fashion in Gaming Awards, its affiliates, and sponsors the irrevocable and unrestricted right to take photographs and/or video recordings of you and to use, reproduce, copyright, and distribute these images in any and all media for promotional, marketing, and commercial purposes, without compensation or notification. You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished photographs or video.

4. Event Cancellation & Change Policy

As an independent event, our capacity to host the Event is subject to the rules and policies of New York Comic Con and the Javits Center. The Event is planned for October 8th, 2026. In the event of cancellation, postponement, or changes due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to force majeure, venue changes by New York Comic Con/ReedPop, public health mandates, or other unforeseeable events), we are not responsible for any costs associated with your attendance, including travel, accommodation, or other expenses. The Event date, time, location, and programming are subject to change without prior notice, though we will endeavor to communicate any changes as soon as possible.

5. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver (CRITICAL)

By attending the Event, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to infectious diseases (such as COVID-19 or other public health threats), personal injury, or property loss, whether occurring before, during, or after the Event. You agree to release, waive, and hold harmless Fashion in Gaming Awards (Game-Changing Style LLC), its organizers, staff, volunteers, sponsors, and the venue from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or rights of action, which are related to, arise out of, or are in any way connected with your attendance at the Event. This includes any injury, death, or damage to person or property, whether caused by the negligence of the released parties or otherwise. You are solely responsible for your personal belongings.

6. Prohibited Items

All attendees must adhere to the New York Comic Con weapons and prop policy. We welcome cosplay and props as part of the experience! Security reserves the right to inspect any prop and deny entry to our event area if a prop is deemed unsafe or in violation of these rules. Additionally, the following are prohibited: illegal substances, outside food or beverage, and any items deemed dangerous or disruptive by security. All bags may be subject to search upon entry.

7. Privacy

Your personal data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy. We collect only what's necessary to manage your attendance and communicate with you about the Awards. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time.

8. Disputes & Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles. We encourage informal resolution of any disputes by contacting us at info@fashioningamingawards.com. If needed, disputes may be resolved via neutral arbitration in New York, New York, United States.

9. Updates to these terms

We may update these Terms when necessary. If changes are made, we'll notify attendees through our website or email. Continued participation after updates means you accept the new Terms.

10. Agreement

By submitting the RSVP form, you confirm that you:

Are at least 18 years old (or have parental consent).
Understand and agree to these Event Attendee Agreement terms.
Allow promotional use of your image and likeness as described in Section 3.
Accept that participation is voluntary and at your own risk as described in Section 5.

Your submission acts as your electronic signature confirming agreement.
